Societal addiction therapy presents a complex challenge that requires innovative and community-centered approaches. Motivational Interviewing (MI) has emerged as a robust method to facilitate behavior change, while Community Engaged Scenario Planning (CESP) provides a strategic framework for collective problem-solving and future planning. This article explores the integration of MI into CESP frameworks within the context of societal addiction therapy, offering a detailed review of theoretical foundations, practical applications, and potential outcomes.
